Instrument tuition:

Currently we have tutors available for the following instruments:

• Funkey Fingers - keyboard tuition for most age groups and ability levels…Click here for further info, and make a booking for your FIRST free lesson.
• Guitar - acoustic and electric.
• Woodwind tuition - clarinets, and saxophones at present.
• Voice - kids, HSC, adult- fun, serious, pop, church etc. Enquire now!
• String - violin, as well as potential string ensemble
• Drum Kit and Percussion

Group, Individual or Paired lessons for the above instruments are available- discuss your needs/goals to get the most out of your experience at Funkey Music Factory.

Regarding paired lessons: You can come with someone, or be matched by us (with someone of similar age/ability level). These lessons are more intensive tuition experiences, but still holistic in approach.

Other music tuition at the Factory:

• Funkey Under 5’s classes- great, fun, music education classes for 3 and 4 year olds. Classes are similar in style to Wiggles and Hi 5, with loads of energy, song, activities and learning through music. Your kids will LOVE it.
Very reasonably priced for a 45 minute lesson.

Lesson duration:

• Group lessons are 45 min in duration- 40 min teaching, and 5 min pack up/homework time
• Individual and pairs lessons are 30 min in duration, unless you specifically request a longer period.

Courses

We will also offer a variety of courses-both for fun and specific educational enhancement. E.g. jazz, songwriting, composition, improvisation, arranging, rock bands, working in an ensemble etc.

Many of our courses (led by professionals in the various fields) run for a term, or half term at a time, and will include practical as well as theoretical aspects.
